During the 1990’s the entire front porch was torn off and rebuilt on a block foundation, and to extend across the entire width of the house. Additionally, three sets of French doors were added to the first floor and one set to the second floor to improve light, air and movement. Electrical and plumbing systems have been updated, as needed.
Excavation of the rear yard allowed a dry-stack stone wall to be added to enclose a new brick patio. The stucco has been painted (twice) and trim has been painted fully, twice (and touched-up twice).
Ceilings in two upstairs bedrooms were raised to the roof rafters and custom fabricated ‘bell-shaped’ windows were added for light and architectural interest.
